Gary received a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University in 1981. He worked in the retail field for 16 years with Children's Palace and Toys R Us. In 1998, he joined Hugh M. Cunningham, starting part time in the warehouse. When an opening presented itself, he then filled the position of Accounting and Human Resources Manager. He is responsible for the reporting of sales and financial data to each group that makes up Hugh M. Cunningham, Inc. Each group has their individual reports, to show their progress and relationship to the whole company.

Hugh M. Cunningham, Inc. has invested in a program to record and track sales and commission dollars earned by each sales person, and each month, produces sales reports for each group and sales person so they can track their customer and vendor activity and ranking.

Human Resources plays a vital role in every company, and with over 100 employees, Hugh M. Cunningham, Inc. is no exception. The Human Resources Department administers all employee issues and benefits offered by Hugh M. Cunningham, Inc.; medical and dental insurance, AFLAC insurance, 401(K), credit union, and payroll Direct Deposit.
